About Ethereum

Ether is the fuel of the Ethereum network: every transfer and smart-contract call pays gas in it, and validators stake it to secure the chain. Counted in rupees, ETH's value reflects both its own price and the rupee-dollar rate, so the INR figure can move on a day ETH does not.

The programmable blockchain — the network most decentralised apps, stablecoins and tokens run on. The Ethereum overview has its chart, key statistics and what moves the price; for ETH in USD or USDT, see the converters below.

FAQs

ETH to INR Frequently Asked Questions

How much is 1 ETH in INR?

At the last read (16 Oct 2026, 23:28 IST), 1 ETH was about ₹228,723.95. That is Bybit ETHUSDT spot's last price, converted at Tether's dollar price and the ECB's USD/INR reference rate. The calculator at the top uses the same rate.

How do I convert 0.1 ETH to INR?

Multiply 0.1 by the rate: 0.1 × ₹228,723.95 = ₹22,872.40. Type 0.1 in the ETH box above for the same figure, or see the ETH to INR table for other amounts.

How do I convert INR back to ETH?

Divide the INR amount by the rate. For example, ₹10,000 ÷ ₹228,723.95 ≈ 0.043721 ETH. Type in the INR box above, or press the swap button, and the calculator works it out to 6 decimal places.

Why can the quoted ETH/INR rate differ from a trade price?

The rate is the last trade on Bybit ETHUSDT spot, converted at reference rates. A real trade fills at the order book's bid or ask, which sit either side of the last price, and adds the platform's fees, India's 1% TDS on crypto transfers, and whatever rate your bank or P2P counterparty gives for rupees. Prices move between reading and trading, too.

Does an INR value include exchange-rate changes?

Yes. The rupee value is the dollar value times USD/INR, so it changes when ETH moves and when the rupee moves against the dollar. This page uses the ECB's reference rate for 16 Oct 2026, which is set once each business day and does not move during the day. The history chart converts each day at that day's own rate.

Can I use this calculator to exchange ETH on Gravitas?

No. The calculator only estimates values; it does not buy, sell or swap anything, and Gravitas does not exchange crypto or hold funds. What Gravitas offers is options on ETH, placed on your own connected exchange account. To exchange ETH for INR, use an exchange that supports that pair.
